The Cisco Access Point family is mature, powerful and flexible and can be deployed using the Autonomous model or the Controller based model. (For Cisco WLAN Controllers).

The 1130 Series Access Point provides 54Mbit/sec 802.11b/g and 802.11a Wireless LAN capability.
It has integral omni directional antennas working on both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz band.

1140 AP
The Cisco 1140 Series Access Point provides full 802.11n Wireless LAN capability.
It has integral omni directional antennas working on both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz band, providing up to 300Mbit/sec 802.11n throughput but is also totally backward compatible with 802.11b/g and 802.11a to allow for ease of migration of clients.

1240 AP
The Cisco 1240 Series Access Point is the standard device for deploying 802.11b/g and/or 802.11a in business environments due to its power and flexibility.
It has two external antenna ports for 802.11b/g and two for 802.11a allowing a multitude of external antennas to be used.

1250 AP
The Cisco 1250 Series Access Point provides full 802.11n Wireless LAN capability but with the added flexibility of having external antenna ports.
It works on both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz band, providing up to 300Mbit/sec with full backward compatibility for 802.11b/g and 802.11a clients

1300 BRIDGE
The Cisco 1300 Series Bridge is designed for deployment of Wireless LAN externally as it consists of a weatherproof enclosure.Although predominatally used in point to point WLAN Bridge links it can also be configured as an Access Point.
It provides 802.11g connectivity providing throughput of up to 54 Mbit/sec.
There are two options available, either using the integral antennas or external antenna ports.

1520 MESH AP
The Cisco 1520 Access Point is designed for deployments of outdoor wireless mesh.
It consists of a fully weatherproof enclosure with different options for powering and mounting.
It provides 802.11b/g for client Wireless LAN connectivity whilst using 802.11a for the mesh backhaul.
It has external antenna ports allowing a multitude of external antennas to be used.
