The Envoy offers a robust PC solution in tough environments as it is highly resilient to vibration and jolting. Its' in-built flexibility to be separated into its individual components for exceptional visibility, makes it ideal for fixed station or in-vehicle operations. The Envoy is based upon the proven Mini-ITX form factor and is housed within a rugged extruded aluminium enclosure.

The Envoy can be ordered in a number of hardware configurations to suit customer needs, together with a choice of Windows or Linux operating systems.

The Envoy incorporates an intelligent power supply which accepts a 12-24V DC input and will automatically shutdown the system in an orderly way on detecting a low voltage condition. In an in-vehicle configuration the power supply is also able to sustain operation during engine cranking - essential for reliable operation within a vehicle.

The Envoy can be supplied with a small touch-screen for ease of mobile operation, or a larger ruggedised flat screen display for use in fixed configurations, e.g. warehouse dock gate receiving, or customer information kiosk application.
