To drive and deliver new revenue streams by contacting existing clients to inform them about our products and services. To support the field-based team by developing relationships with our key clients and managing smaller projects on their behalf. To help convert our current transactional customers into high value managed service partners and to help improve the overall experience of Ensigns clients.
Primary Focus Of The Role
The Desk Based Client Manager is required to build relationships with existing clients to generate new business opportunities, manage our client’s small orders and support our field-based team with their clients to drive our ambitious growth plans. The Desk Based Client Manager’s key focus is about analysing the client’s current situation and business requirements through awareness, empathy and questioning. They will have the ability to influence clients to use the Ensign’s portfolio of solutions through articulating value add and building key relationships across the customers organisation.
In exchange, you will report directly into the Sales Director and we will offer all the support, development and regular coaching needed as part of a brilliant team. If you wish, we will provide a defined roadmap to become a successful field-based Client Manager in an exciting industry.
In conjunction the role will require a great deal of collaboration across the business to help deliver efficient processes to support a wider desk-based function account management function.
- Professional training either through previous company or other recognised accreditations e.g. (Pareto Law).
- Experience of sales fundamentals and strategic account management techniques.
- Able to demonstrate experience of working in the Networking, SaaS, Cloud Computing or systems integration sectors
- Able to demonstrate the ability to continuously meet or exceed against a sales target
