I want to arrange a WiFi Survey
Investing in a business-grade wireless network can be a major investment into your business. The benefits are numerous as providing your staff, guests or students with secure, robust and resilient WiFi enhances productivity and empowers the sharing of business-critical information and access to important data.
It is for these reasons that a WiFi survey is an essential part and the foundation to any successful wireless network. When done wrong, the functionality and performance of the resulting network will undoubtedly suffer; done right, and not only can you rest-assured that the network will perform as per the brief but there will be no need to waste money correcting avoidable mistakes.
Ensign offer a number of site survey options which have been designed to accommodate all budgets and requirements:
Onsite WiFi Surveys – wherever possible we would always recommend an onsite (physical) WiFi survey is undertaken for the singular reason that they are the most effective way of accumulating the most accurate data about the proposed RF environment. We are so confident in the results of these surveys that we offer customers a 100% coverage guarantee.
Predictive WiFi Surveys – Using computer software to map the proposed RF environment, a predictive survey will give an indicative version of WiFi coverage and performance. Taking into account the sites’ structural blueprint and the range of material used in its construction and also within the building, an estimated degree of RF attenuation can be arrived at. These types of surveys are more common for smaller wireless LAN deployments.
